Characteristics of Spray Angle and Discharge Coefficient of Pressure-Swirl Atomizer

چکیده

A widely distributed spray is an important feature for atomizer which required in various applications such as gas cooling, turbine combustion, and fluidized bed granulator. Pressure-swirl example of provides a wide angle through the swirling effect inside atomizer. One parameters affecting geometrical constant, K. Another parameter pressure-swirl discharge coefficient, Cd. Discharge coefficient describes throughput liquid flow. An experimental test-rig was constructed to conduct performance test Acquired images were analysed using image-processing software. It found that K has inverse relation with direct Prediction Cd existing correlations also yields similar trends results, but some still need be considered perform accurate prediction.
